About the Club

Although we are a small club we all work together raising considerable sums of money to support our annual nominated charities by organising various events such as :- Charity Lunches, Seafront Stalls , Club Lunches , Rotary Fete, also running tea & cake stall adjacent to the Coast Watch Station.

The club annually supports the Shoe Box Appeal every Autumn.

Recently the club has been able to support the local Food Bank in the Town which is in need of help at this difficult time.

Located on the Isle of Purbeck is the charming town of Swanage, very popular with families because of its award winning Blue Flag Beaches .

Swanage is a busy thriving town with a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, including a weekly market.

So much takes place in the town throughout the year with various events , Folk, Jazz & Blues Festivals an exceptional Carnival Week of entertainment for all the family makes Swanage a very vibrant place with numerous additional events such as a Rotary Fete, Fish Festival and Lifeboat Week. Life is never dull , a wonderful active town for young and old alike.
